If your bombarding temperature gauge (or
other meters for that matter) looks like this the answer is YES! Trying
to keep old equipment limping along when it is past its
time is usually a false economy that leads to more
expensive things – like having to remake countless units
that went bad due to false readings from an old worn out
gauge. Keeping equipment in good working order and
repairing it when necessary goes without saying. But
there comes a time when you just have to let it go. Do
yourself and your customers a big favor and be realistic
about it. This one should have been retired decades ago.
